The greatest conference program of all time is now ready!
After working closely with 30 leaders and industry experts for over a year, we are proud of the breadth of the conference program at AquaNext on September 22–23, says Sigurd Vik.
In the main program, we have also received valuable guidance from our Advisory board, consisting of nine industry leaders. Key topics that will be addressed include:
- Where is the industry heading toward 2040?
- Is innovation in governance possible?
- Space/area – is it the root of all challenges?
- Aquaculture – has it become a cultural divide between coast and capital, between Austevoll and Grünerløkka?
- What can the industry learn from the oil sector?
- Shielding technology – what should we choose?
- Fish welfare – what will the roadmap look like going forward?
Here you can read more about the program.
In the fish welfare session during the main conference, we have received strong support from Bremnes, Grieg, AquaKompetanse, and Pharmaq. Similarly, dedicated committees have been established for three highly relevant specialist seminars:
- Digitalization
- Land-based aquaculture
- Feed and raw materials
Nina Grieg, Kristin Hurum, Svein Gustav Sinkaberg, Harald Takle, Linda Litlakalsøy Aase, and Knut Nesse are among the many industry leaders attending. From the public sector, Ingunn Midttun Godal, Bård Skjelstad, and several members of the Norwegian Food Safety Authority leadership will be present. The Directorate of Fisheries and the Norwegian Veterinary Institute will also be well represented.
Did we mention CEO Camilla Stoltenberg of Norce, CEO Ståle Kyllingstad of IKM, Chair of Norsk Industri, and CIO Thomas Hoff-Hansen of Aker BP?
In total, 150 speakers will take the stage over the course of the two days.
