Dedicated seminar on feed ingredients

Access to marine feed ingredients is currently under significant pressure. While other salmon-producing countries have adopted alternatives, large parts of the Norwegian salmon industry remain reluctant to use many of these options. At the Feed Ingredients Seminar, key stakeholders from the industry, financial sector and research community will come together to discuss how the feed industry and aquaculture sector can address these challenges in practice. The programme has been developed by Skretting Aquaculture Innovation and Skretting Norway. The seminar will take place on Wednesday, 23 September, from 09:00 to 13:00.

What choices have enabled us to successfully adopt new feed ingredients in other countries – and previously in Norway? What lessons can we take forward? Through expert presentations, market perspectives and panel discussions, participants will gain insights into the current feed ingredient landscape, future demand and the opportunities offered by new and alternative solutions. The session will be expertly moderated by Leif Kjetil Skjæveland, Director of Sustainability and Public Affairs at Skretting Norway.
