AquaNext – a place where the entire industry can come together and learn from each other.

Our industry is facing many challenges right now, and it is especially important that we hold on to what matters most, says Håvard Walde. -Namely, that we produce food. Therefore, we absolutely must solve the problems and seize the opportunities that will allow us to produce more food in the best possible way going forward. We do this best together, and AquaNext is a great platform where we can learn from each other. That’s why Skretting is participating in both the exhibition and the conferences.

Håvard Walde has 17 years of experience at Skretting, the last five as CEO. He explains that Skretting is engaged on behalf of the entire industry, not just as a supplier. -There are few other food producers in the world that can compare to the way we produce fish in Norway. We have the world’s best aquaculturists, a unique coastline, a solid management system, and a supply chain that is the best in the world. At the same time, we are completely dependent on open global trade. We source our inputs from all continents, and people in all countries want our fish. I believe this openness to the world is what has made us so good. We bring in new ideas, and we give back. For us at Skretting, that’s what AquaNext is all about. A place where these skilled professionals from across the industry and government can gather and learn from each other, so that together, we can find the best solutions for producing even more food.
