Land-based aquaculture – what have we learned and where do we go from here?
Tuesday, September 22nd at 12.30 – 16.00
This year, AquaNext is organizing a dedicated technical seminar on land-based aquaculture. The seminar is designed to provide practical and applicable knowledge and is suitable for managers and operational staff at aquaculture companies, technology suppliers, fish health advisors, and public authorities.
Land-based aquaculture has achieved significant results in several areas. At the same time, the journey has been demanding, marked by challenges and valuable learning along the way. At this seminar, you will meet some of the country’s leading companies and experts who will share their experiences and insights. How will companies further develop their post-smolt strategies? Is land-based production of market-size fish economically sustainable? And what is required to optimise production through the interaction between biology, technology, and processes?
The program has been developed by:
Siri Tømmerås, Chief Commercial Officer, AKVA group
Inger Lise Breivik, Senior Advisor, DNV
Arne Staveland, CBO, Eide
Bjarte Sævareid, Production Manager, Baring
Bjørn Dørum, Chair of the Board, Mat-kuling
